Hello, I’m Billiejoe Charlton, a data scientist living in Brighton, England. I’m currently part of the Data Science team at Brandwatch.

Previously I obtained my PhD from Imperial College London and worked as a researcher in the “Foundations of Software Systems” group at University of Sussex. My work there concerned the use of mathematical techniques, such as Hoare logic and abstract interpretation, to model and reason about the execution of computer programs. Following that I worked as an analyst at CountingLab, working on energy demand forecasting and other data mining challenges.
